The semester in New York City is organized into two sessions in which students enroll in a total of 12 credits. The first module (weeks 1-12) focuses on studio and one elective course. During this time, students enroll in 9 credits. The second module (weeks 14-16) is dedicated to an intensive 3-credit course oriented towards professional development. Additionally, there are many opportunities to learn outside of class, during the public events series, field trips, office visits and guest workshops throughout the semester. During the summer months the New York City program expands its focus to study the impact of real estate development in architecture and the city and offers a variety of experiential learning opportunities.
